The Art of Recruiting

Mr. Andrews,

I would first like to say. Out of the box is the best way to approach new ventures. One recruitment strategy that I have learned to be effective is to capture every person that touches you. For instance the Dream Maker's foundation is very effective in making sure that every person that ever volunteers becomes a part of a virtual database, which keeps you connected to all they do. Our church partnered with her one year ago and I feel like I am a part of her organization's family. A few rules: 1. She makes it easy to volunteer: once you respond to her email you will receive constant reminders and logistical details of up coming event. 2. You know the when where how and why within your first inquiry. 3. She does what she says she will do. If it is a phone call or map or etc. Let's continue to share because these will serve as guidelines as we move forward in development
